Founded in 1984 by Master Electrician and former City of Austin electrical inspector Bob Purcell, Purcell Electric was built on one simple belief: do the job right and give people more than they expect. Serving neighbors and newcomers across the Texas Hill Country, Bob earned a reputation for honest work, dependable service, and the mindset he stood by every day: “Give them what they pay for, and then some.”
Today, that legacy lives on through his son, Todd Purcell, who continues leading the company with the same values and commitment to quality service. Now joined by Todd’s son, Justin Purcell, Purcell Electric remains a family-driven business built on trust, hard work, and treating customers the right way.
What started as a two-man operation has grown into a trusted team serving homes and businesses across the Hill Country and beyond. In 2021, Purcell Electric expanded its expertise by becoming a certified Generac sales, installation, and service dealer, bringing reliable backup power solutions to even more families and businesses across Texas while continuing the legacy of honest work and real results.
